White steel aggregate

Secondary metallurgical slag is produced in the refining furnace (LFS – Ladle Furnace Slag). Its calcium oxide high content (>50%) gives a white appearance.

Main applications as raw material for cement industry in the clinker production, carbon negative concrete, lime substitution in the steel making process, where not only reduces the use of natural resources, but also contributes to a significant CO₂ reduction. White aggregate is also used for soil pH amendment and acid waste treatment.
